What you get
During this class, we will be covering tips and tricks necessary on how to pose and photograph your salon sets in an interesting and creative way to create amazing promotional images.
These images may then be used in order to promote your salon and your services on social media to:
- Attract new clients
- Promote new services
- Promote the latest colors to existing clients
We will be covering the following areas to help enhance the photography of salon nails:
- Importance of great photos
- Use of backgrounds
- Use of props
- Hand poses

All students need to photograph 3 salon sets and post them on the Tracey Lee’s Lably Students Facebook Group Page – https://www.facebook.com/groups/685686141819935/. If students are unable to do 3 different sets, then it can be the same set. However, it would need to be photographed in 3 different ways.
Upon the posting of your work for this class, students will receive feedback.

It was only when she moved to the Netherlands in 2002 that Tracey got a taste of the nail industry when she completed her nail course.
Shortly thereafter, she was invited to join the Company’s education team. With this experience and a background in project management, sales, marketing and IT, she was able to expand her experience within the company and fulfilled a role in the marketing, IT and product development departments.
From 2012 to the end of 2015 she fulfilled the role of Director of Education and Head of Product Development for an international nail and beauty company. This was a very dynamic role including education, research and development, travel and a great deal of networking.
As of 2016 she have been working as an Independent International Educator and Consultant, and has been fortunate enough to represent various companies at Trade Shows, International Trainings, Open Days, Conferences and Competitions.
In 2016 Tracey participated in the Mastered:Nails program where she continued to learn and develop within the nail and fashion industry.
Tracey has joined the CND Team as a guest artist at New York Fashion Week and has created unique and fashion-forward designs for designers such as The Blonds, Libertine, Gareth Pugh, Manish Arora, Sophia Webster.
